Bad Bunny announces new album

Bad Bunny has excited his fans by announcing the release date of his upcoming album. His new project will see the light of day on Friday, October 13, and the artist shared an exciting video on Instagram last Monday in order to unveil the news. There we can see him arriving at a restaurant as he is enthusiastically greeted by the crowd and the venue’s staff, who call him “Don Benito.” “The day most awaited by many has arrived,” wrote in his post.

The singer had previewed his single “Un Preview” in late September, and claimed on his WhatsApp channel (with more than 15 million of followers) that it could be his last musical contribution this year, and claiming that it was simply a preview of “what’s to come next year”. Although Vanity Fair speculated about the release of a new album in the fall of 2023, the artist had dodged the issue in previous interviews.

The cover of Nadie Sabe lo que va a Pasar Mañana (Nobody Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow) features a drawing of the Puerto Rican wearing a blue fringe suit and riding a horse.

What we know about the album

The award-winning artist announced via Twitter that the new album will feature 22 songs. He has also left new clues on his social media about the track list, with one letter of the tittle of each song placed as if he was playing hangman. Spotify already offers a preview track list, although keeping all the names hidden. What it does reveal is that “Where she goes”, and “Un preview” will occupy the 17th and last spot on the album.

Although the collaborations on the album have not yet been revealed, the international press is already speculating on names. Feid, Arcangel and Eladio Carrión, regular collaborators of the Puerto Rican, are the most talked about. At 29 years old, the new album that Bad Bunny will release this Friday will be his fifth studio album. The previous are X100PRE (2018), YHLQMDLG (2020), El Último Tour Del Mundo (2020), Un Verano Sin Ti (2022).
