A study carried out by the Association of Large Consumption Companies (Aecoc) for Mercabarna determines that 45% of the Spanish population eats sushi in their own home once a minimum month. Consumers increasingly value the quality, price and proximity, when buying the most typical dish of Japanese origin.

This information comes from surveys made to thousands of people between 20 and 70 who buy sushi regularly. The results of the surveys indicate that 63% of buyers consume seafood products twice a week.

The sushi’s study

The study also notes that fewer and fewer people visit the fishmongers. The main reason is that consumers make their purchases from consumer chains as it is convenient for them to remain in the same establishment. Below is a recipe for how to make sushi in 5 simple steps. Sushi is one of the richest and most famous foods in the world.

  3. Make it: while resting the rice, mix the 4 tablespoons of rice vinegar with the 2 tablespoons of sugar and the teaspoon of salt. Stir until dissolved sugar.
