Kim Kardashian surprises with a monologue on Saturday Night Live
The reality star was a guest on the satirical show “Saturday Night Live” and exceeded expectations with a show which she ironized about Kanye West, her family and herself
TelevisióZPortada Izquierda 26 octubre, 2021 user5 0«I’m also surprised to see myself here» This is how Kim Kardashian began her appearance on the Saturday Night Live, a sketch program with a journey of more than 40 years that has reviewed the political and social news of Americans through a satirical and innocent vision.
Kim continued “When they invited me, I was like: Do you want me to be a presenter? Why? I haven’t released a movie in a long time. In fact, I’ve only released one and no one told me about the premiere. My mother must have forgotten” she continued making a clear and ironic reference to the sex tape with her ex-boyfriend that elevated her to the altars of television popularity.
Roasting the family and Kanye West
Kim Kardashian (she was actually announced as “Kardashian West”) then made it clear that she’s “so much more than just a pretty face — and good hair, and great makeup , and amazing boobs, and a perfect butt,” she quipped in her slightly nasal monotone. “I’m so much more than that reference photo my sisters showed to their plastic surgeon.”

Left to the right: Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, Kyle, Kris and Kim Kardashian
The most popular face in the Kardashian’s family talks about everyone around her from her sisters to her ex-husband, Kanye West, through the case of OJ Simpson that made her father famous or her mother’s current boyfriend with whom she has been 20 years old, Corey Gamble.
So, let’s do a review of everything she said about his environment during the monologue:
Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble
“But the one thing I’m really proud of is that no one could ever call me a gold digger. Honestly, I’m not sure how you even become one. So I asked my mum’s boyfriend Corey.”
The famous case of Kim Kardashian father: OJ Simpson
“You know my father was and still is such an influence and inspiration to me and I credit him with really opening up my eyes to racial injustice. It’s because of him that I met my first Black person. Want to take a stab in the dark at who it was? I know it’s sort of weird to remember the first Black person you met, but OJ does leave a mark. Or several. Or none at all, I still don’t know!”
Caitlyn Jenner, Kardashian’s Stepfather
“I’m an influencer so I understand that the things that I say carry weight, but you know I would never tell anyone what they can or can’t do. Remember, I’m a Kim, not a Karen. And honestly, with all of the ‘K’ names, it’s really impressive that my mum didn’t pick Karen. I mean somehow she just knew. I don’t know how she saw that one coming and not Caitlyn.”
Kim Kardashian and family’s failed political bids
“Now I know we’re divided as a country but I would love America to come together, which is why I’m here to announce that I’m running for … I’m just kidding guys. I’m not running for president, we can’t have three failed politicians in one family.”
Kanye West
“I’ve been very blessed in this life and I’m grateful for everything. Honestly, all the ups, all the downs. I mean I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America. A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality.”
And Oscar goes to…
A program that exceeds all the expectations an immediately the social media and all the fans of the show turns were excited even going so far as to say that it was one of the best openings in the history of the program. Some of the best Twitter reactions of Kim ‘SNL’ debut:

A monologue that caught everyone’s attention and that in seconds became a trend around the world, an appearance that shows that even the queen of reality shows, and social networks also laughs at herself and the things around her.
