Bayern Munich is the only club had win the Champions League in 65 years of competition to win the tournament without the presence of the public in the final.
One year ago, Paris Sant Germain and Bayern Munich played the final of Champions League in Da Luz Stadium in Lisboa, Portugal. This final had the incentive to disputed in full pandemic and with an empty room that reflected what the world was like in those moments.
The tournament since the quarter-final if play at only one match because the travelling between nations have restricted for the coronavirus. Leipzig, PSG, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Atalanta, Lyon and Manchester City they were the only ones present for this K.O. route. Leipzig, Lyon and PSG qualified for the semifinals but the ‘Bavarians’ they endorsed 8 goals to Barcelona to pass the next round. They were the rivals to beat with players how: Alaba, Neuer, Muller, Lewandowski, etc. Players who by their mere presence make the remaining teams fear.
In the first semifinal, ‘Les parisiens’ they faced one of the surprise teams of the competition, Red Bull Leipzig. With Neymar and Mbappé on a high level they decreed the pass to final with a 3-0. In the other side, those of Rudy Garcia they would try to surprise to the Germans, but the result was the same that the other semifinal.
Finally, without an empty stadium PSG and Bayern Munich battles to win the champions league. An atypical final and outside the party that is lived in previous editions, was defined with a solitary goal from Coman in second time. After the game, one bench celebrated and the other suffered. Bayern Munich was the champions in the year of coronavirus, a year in which silence triumph over the diffusiveness of a championship. This is the six cup of the ‘Municheses’.
