ADIDAS RIVALRY: THE ICONIC SNEAKER OF THE SEASON

In the 1980s, where NBA player sponsorships generated a lot of money, the trainer design became a streetwear icon. That’s why the brand decided to make NBA classic Patrick Ewing the first ambassador of the Rivalry, customising the silhouette in the colours of the New York Knicks.

Now, this Adidas classic is updated and adapted to today’s fashion and streetwear culture: comfort and style. It unites the retro aesthetics of that time with the updated codes or patterns of the German brand. As a result, the Rivalry has become one of the most sought-after silhouettes among trainer lovers looking for versatility and quality.

Features

The retro-style trainer mixes different materials: leather, suede and synthetic fabric for the best finish. The toe cap features classic perforations to better regulate the temperature, and as decoration, the brand has emblazoned its adidas 3-Stripes logo on the sides. Underfoot, the stitched cupsole combines soft cushioning and a grippy rubber outsole with a pattern that provides traction and comfort with every step.

This season the Rivalry arrives in both high top and low top versions in different colourways. From the total white version, to the white model with red details or the model with navy blue details, black with white motifs, and the tricolour in a combination of grey, dark blue and green, among many others. The Rivalry is constantly being updated with different tones, so you’re sure to find some that fit your codes, style and personality.

Here you have a review of the shoe to learn more about the materials and features of the shoes. This way, you can decide whether to buy it or not, although it seems to be the shoe of the moment… not going to be fashionable?
